One Day, Two Festivals, and a lot of Beer!

It was another big weekend for Brewers Anonymous. Club members represented Brewers Anonymous at two separate beer festivals on the same day. On Saturday, April 13th, our members served their fantastic beers at “Brews Around the Zoo” at the Central Florida Zoo in Sanford, FL, and at the “Hogtown Craft Beer Festival” in Gainesville, FL.

Both events featured a unique set of beers from Brewers Anonymous. “Brews Around the Zoo” visitors were offered:
Madagascar Malt Amber Ale
Happy Heffer Hefeweizen
Herds Turds Chocolate Stout
Lohmar Kölsch
Candy Land Sour

Hogtown Craft Beer Festival attendees enjoyed:
Hipster Skull Pale Ale
Murder Hornet Hot Pepper Amber Ale
Zombie Steam California Common
Consistent Volunteer Brown Ale
One Step Beyond New Zealand Pilsner
And a special 3 o’clock tapping of Sean’s Barrel Russian Imperial Stout

Both events were another success for the club. All five beers at Brews in the Zoo ran dry just hours into the event.

The late-tapped barrel-aged Russian Imperial Stout lasted less than 90 minutes, while all the other beers were left floating, with just a few pours left when the last call was announced.

We thank the Central Florida Zoo and the Hogtown Brewers Homebrew Club for including us in both events this year. And special thanks to our members for donating their beer and time to make these events successful!

Cheers!
