Long Lines, Fun Beers, and Community Friends Make Science on Tap another success!

The craft beer festival season has returned, and it all started for us at Science on Tap by the Orlando Science Center in Orlando, Florida!

After an extremely and unusually cold week in Central Florida, the weather finally turned in our favor, making it the perfect day to come out and enjoy some craft beer.

Brewers Anonymous was on hand again this year, offering our one-of-a-kind and once-in-a-lifetime beers to the beer-loving crowd.

This year’s tap list featured:
Can’t Feel My Face – A Best Bitter with Sichuan Peppercorns
Mother Smucker! – A PB&J Sour
Tarantula Hawk – A Hot Pepper Tropical Stout
The Og 119 – A Non-Traditional English Dark Mild
Dominance & Submission – A Brett Saison
MisBeerHaving – Experimental Mead
Maple Bee – A Maple Flavored Mead
Shadowhive Bochet – A Caramelized Oaked Mead
A Schwarzbier
An Italian Pilsner
And What’s the Hop – a beer brewed with a single hop for a science-inspired activity for the Orlando Science Center: Attendees were given a scratch-off card with four choices of what hop was used to brew the beer. After sampling the beer, they scratched off their guess to see if they could pick “What’s the Hop.”

Once again, our unique beer menu drew long lines, many compliments, and possibly even a few new future members.

Our activity was well received too – the local news WKMG channel 6 featured our scratch-off cards in an online article: click here to read the article.

We enjoyed meeting many beer fans, seeing many of our friends from local brewers like Celebration Brewing, Three Odd Guys, and Zymarium, and enjoying a beautiful day with the Orlando beer community.

We look forward to a fun festival season and can’t wait to share our beers and introduce the greatest hobby on the planet to more craft beer fans!

Cheers!
