June Homebrew Club Meeting 2025 Recap

Our June meeting was held on June 20th at Ivanhoe Park Brewing Company.

New Members & Thanks

We welcomed two new members:

  • Austin Brown, who jumped right into the community on Discord (even from out of state!)
  • Lexi Blankin, a familiar face in the local beer scene, decided to join after helping out with recent club activities.

Thanks, as always, to our sponsors: Ivanhoe Park Lagerhouse, Home State Brewing Company, Tactical Brewing, and the American Homebrewers Association.

Nova Lager Competition

Congrats to our winners in the June Nova Lager Challenge:

1st Justin Hefferan – 1st Place

2️nd Eric Rodriguez – 2nd Place

3rd Matt Hunsworth – 3rd Place

Competition Highlights

Brewers Anonymous members continued to rack up medals, especially at the Hogtown Brew Off.

Hot & Humid Recap

This year’s Hot & Humid competition reached a new level, with record participation, generous sponsors, and a polished live-streamed awards ceremony. If you missed it, check out the video on our YouTube channel—many members agree it was our best awards show yet.

Circuit Standings

After combining points from Hogtown and Hot & Humid, Brewers Anonymous is back in the lead in the Florida Homebrew Circuit. The competition is tight, so stay tuned as results from the First Coast Cup and other upcoming events roll in.
