Lizard Cup 2018 Homebrew Competition Judging

BJCP Homebrew Competition Judging

On Saturday August 4th we held the judging session for Lizard Cup 2018 Homebrew Competition at Dead Lizard Brewing Company.  We had 64 total entries, and were able to get them all judged in just about 4 hours.  This included all first round, second round, and Best of Show.  We had judges from various clubs throughout the Orlando area show up, so big thanks to CFHB, and Brew Club of Semionle County for helping.  We had 9 first round flights, 3 second round and of course one Best of Show flight.

Once we had all of the first round judging complete we then were able to move onto the second round. These second round flights were for Lagers, Stouts and IPAs. After we had established a gold medal winner for each of the 5 categories, we then moved onto the Best of Show.

Best of Show
Best of Show table is set and ready for judges.

Thanks again to all the judges who came out and helped us in the hot and humid brewery.  Your time was greatly appreciated.  Hope to see you all on Saturday August 11th, for Lizard Cup 2018.
